I’ve had a phobia of dental work since I was a kid to the point that, unless I was in unbearable pain, I refused to visit the dentist. In 2021, I reached the breaking point with an abscess and called Watauga Family Dentistry. They got me in right away and the abscess was critically bad and needed emergency dental attention. The dentists and technicians were incredibly understanding and adaptive to my needs, helping me manage my fears and getting the job done. Three years and an oral surgery later, I’m still going back for regular check ups and cleanings. My outlook on dental care has done a complete 180. I’ve never felt better going to a dentists office than I have here. I’ve referred everyone I know to Watauga Family Dentistry and they have all had great experiences too.

I’ve had nothing but a positive and professional experience with Dr. Maryam and her amazing team. I first came in a couple of months ago for an emergency extraction, and the level of care and compassion I received was outstanding. I was feeling very self-conscious about needing the procedure, but they made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
Once the emergency was handled, they quickly created a personalized treatment plan to help stabilize and improve my dental health after years of neglect. Today, I was fitted for custom crowns on two teeth, and I’ve already scheduled additional work for the coming weeks.
I’m genuinely grateful to have found such a kind, skilled, and supportive dental team. I highly recommend Dr. Maryam and her staff to anyone looking for quality dental care!

Came in today with excruciating tooth pain, that ended up being my wisdom tooth becoming infected. Within 2 hours, they had my tooth extracted, meds called in, and a care plan created for me all as a first time client upon a walk-in. I am astounded by that alone. Everybody was so friendly and compassionate, the music was fantastic, and the actual service was impressive. I didn’t feel any of the numbing injections, and really felt listened to talking with the staff. I have slight anxiety dealing with dentists, but they helped so much with that today. Thank you for everything this morning, y’all!
Update: Anxiety got the best of me, and they have let me come in twice now just for checkups and some peace of mind. I am so grateful for their compassion and kindness throughout this all.

This office is great. Martina was amazing, and I am not a fan of dental cleanings. She explained everything I wanted to know about what was going on with my build up and sensitivity, and gave me some good practical homework for my dental care. Probably the best cleaning I’ve had. She even adjusted the settings on the water pick tool for me when we got to some areas that hurt more. I’ve never been checked in and helped during that process as much as I was today. And some freebies were an added bonus!
Update: STILL some of the best dentistry experiences I’ve had, by far! Great cleaning, and great care as I still have some sensitivity with my gums and my Tmj muscles get sore during an apt. Doctor was great, so happy to have an awesome dentist office close to home!

Watauga Family Dentistry is the best! Everyone at this practice is kind, thorough, and knowledgeable. Dr. Qureshi is incredibly detail oriented and explains everything she notices and does. The dental hygienists and assistants are great as well. I had my cleaning done by Berenice yesterday and she left my teeth sparkling clean. Not only is the work done exceptional, the wait times are the shortest I’ve experienced. I’ve never waited more than a few minutes, if any, to be seen for my scheduled appointment. I recommended this place to my sister and she has had a great experience as well. I’ve never been a big fan of going to the dentist, but I actually look forward to my appointments here because I know I’m going to be well taken care of. I highly recommend this dentist.

This was by far the best experience I have had with a dental office or any doctor's office in general! The ladies here really are amazing. I was greeted by Sheila first thing when I entered the office. She was so warm and welcoming. Emmie and Kim both did a spectacular job taking my xrays and making sure that I felt comfortable and eased up my nerves. Dr. Choi is a spectacular dentist and is so full of knowledge. She cares so much about her patients and her line of work that it truly shows in how she is able to answer questions and explain what is going on. I am scared of the dentist to say the least so I researched and visited many dentist before I found Dr. Presley. First off let me say her staff is very kind and caring. They treat you like family. When I got my teeth cleaned they were so great with the care and patience they showed with me. When I came back for a surgical procedure, they were the same way. I shared my concerns with both Dr. Presley and the dental hygienist and they listened and are working with me not overwhelming me (I've got a lot of work that I need done.) They take the time to do what's right for each patient and as someone who is terrified of the dentist this really meant alot to me. I am so happy that I found this dentist and her office!

Such a great experience! It was my first visit, and the staff were very friendly and thorough. From front desk, to the assistant who did my imaging, to Luella who did my cleaning. Then of course the doc and her faithful sidekick Koto the dog! I dont have dental anxiety, but I can see how Koto would make anyone feel comfortable and relaxed. You could tell the staff were happy and enjoying each other and their jobs, and that makes a better experience for the patients. I'll definitely be back, and highly recommend! (Plus a bonus visit from another patient's dog, Smoky!)
Editing to add that a year later, some of the staff and the pup have moved on, but still a great experience with the new doc and Martina the hygeinist!

I am not a standard patient at Watauga Family Dentistry, but wanted a second opinion on work recommended by my current dentist. When I called to make an appointment the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to assist me. I was able to book an appointment quickly - the next morning! When I met with Dr. Choi, she was professional and extremely caring. When I explained the treatment recommended she took considerable thought and inspected my teeth with great intent and gave her recommendation. She explained the treatment option and what a future prognosis would look like with detail. If I did not have a dentist I have been using for many years, I would highly consider Dr. Choi’s office.

After reading the great reviews, I decided to give Watauga Family Dentistry a try and I’m glad I did! Dr. Qureshi is definitely the best dentist I’ve ever seen. She is kind, professional, listens to patient concerns and answers all questions thoroughly. The hygienist, Martina, is personable, upbeat and very thorough in the cleanings. She definitely focuses on patient comfort and I love the way my teeth look and feel when she finished. The dental assistants and front office staff at this facility are really amazing as well. They are kind, professional and upbeat. I am very pleased with everything they did. Definitely got a very positive vibe from this office and will be switching my family over to them as well.

If you are looking for a dentist, look no further. Dr. Choi at Watauga Family Dentistry is the best in town. Myself and my wife followed Dr. Choi to her new practice and we are happy we did. Great dentistry skill with a friendly demeanor and bedside manner.
I have been to several dentistry office, from your over the top and heavily advertised office to small dentist office, none has been as well rounded as the Watauga Family Dentistry.
I did my Invisalign here and so far, I have been pleased with not only progress, but also the attention to detail that we have received from Dr. Choi and her team.

I love this place and all of the staff. I was petrified going to the dentist which led me to not seeing one for a really long time. I came here because of recommendations and I'm so glad I did. I had many dental issues and they have gone above and beyond to not only make me feel comfortable but to resolve all of my problems. They even text after hours following procedures to check on me. Sara at the front desk is so sweet, Dasia is such a a great dental assistant, she's so personable and explains everything so well. Dr. Maryam is the best, she's informative and caring. I love this place!!!!! I came to get my tooth removed, the day before Thanksgiving 🤦♀️🤦♀️and was unaware of the process so once surgery began. I started crying!!!! The dentist was great he stopped and took a break, but the dental Assistant was the person that made my experience. She wiped my tears with her hands and held my hand through the entire process. I love this places. Dr. Prentis has girl power here and everyone is soooo friendly and educational. I'm not gonna lie, they almost make me want to give up sweets so I can have pretty straight teeth again!!!! I said almost🤣

Dr. Presley is so awesome! She is very thorough, explains everything really well, and gave me a lot of great suggestions to improve my oral care. Everyone from the front desk to the dental assistants are so sweet and helpful. I used to hate going to the dentist because of my anxiety, but everyone here makes me feel so comfortable and safe. Would definitely recommend! I got a thorough cleaning, some fillings, and plan on going back for a bridge ASAP. I also got a teeth whitening kit and it is working wonders! Wow, this is the best dentist experience I've ever had! I previously went to a far-away office and always felt both reprimanded and in the dark by the dentist for things like grinding my teeth and night or not knowing how to floss well -- no more of that, now that I've seen the light and came here! The staff is super friendly and welcoming, the doctor is also very kind and patient in her explanations! I now know how to stop grinding my teeth and how to floss properly :) I love this woman-owned + staffed dentistry, definitely coming here moving forward!

Everyone is so nice. I mean literally, EVERYONE. I have bad anxiety, especially when I'm at the dentist. I found one I loved in Austin but had to move up here about a year ago. I've been putting it off because, well, the anxiety and fear of being shamed. I've always been very self conscious about my teeth for some reason. I actually chased Dr. Choi from Burleson TX where she previously practiced all the way to Wataga. The drive is worth every single mile. If you are looking for a new Dentist to call your own I personally guarantee you that you will not find one better than Dr. Choi. She and the entire staff at her new office at Wataga Family Dentistry are by far the most caring, friendly, honest, and hospitable folks I have ever visited in any healthcare area. We just left. My 4 year old needed a tooth extracted. The whole team was AMAZING. From helping with a payment plan to turning a kid movie on in his room so he would relax. When it got time to give him the numbing shot and he started saying ow through the tools, his little hand popped up. I was about to jump over there to hold it but Deja (might be spelling the name wrong) grabbed it immediately and started calming him. The dentist was also just incredible with him. We just moved here and this is the only place I want taking care of my family. Thank you guys SO MUCH.
