Came in today with excruciating tooth pain, that ended up being my wisdom tooth becoming infected. Within 2 hours, they had my tooth extracted, meds called in, and a care plan created for me all as a first time client upon a walk-in. I am astounded by that alone. Everybody was so friendly and compassionate, the music was fantastic, and the actual service was impressive. I didn’t feel any of the numbing injections, and really felt listened to talking with the staff. I have slight anxiety dealing with dentists, but they helped so much with that today. Thank you for everything this morning, y’all! Update: Anxiety got the best of me, and they have let me come in twice now just for checkups and some peace of mind. I’ve had nothing but a positive and professional experience with Dr. Maryam and her amazing team. I first came in a couple of months ago for an emergency extraction, and the level of care and compassion I received was outstanding. I was feeling very self-conscious about needing the procedure, but they made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Once the emergency was handled, they quickly created a personalized treatment plan to help stabilize and improve my dental health after years of neglect. Today, I was fitted for custom crowns on two teeth, and I’ve already scheduled additional work for the coming weeks. I’ve had a phobia of dental work since I was a kid to the point that, unless I was in unbearable pain, I refused to visit the dentist. In 2021, I reached the breaking point with an abscess and called Watauga Family Dentistry. They got me in right away and the abscess was critically bad and needed emergency dental attention. The dentists and technicians were incredibly understanding and adaptive to my needs, helping me manage my fears and getting the job done. Three years and an oral surgery later, I’m still going back for regular check ups and cleanings. My outlook on dental care has done a complete 180. I’ve never felt better going to a dentists office than I have here. I’ve referred everyone I know to Watauga Family Dentistry and they have all had great experiences too. ~ Stephy
